AIn year 12, you can choose which standards you are going to complete, but all year 12 students must complete AS 91271.
To pass NCEA Music Level 2, you need to gain 14 credits.
Aim for between 14 and 30 credits.
If you wish to try get more than 30 credits, come talk to me.
Remember that the more assessments you try to complete, the harder it will be to achieve with excellence.

AS 91271 - Compose two substantial pieces of music - 6 credits
AS 91272 - Demonstrate ensemble skills by performing a substantial piece of music as a member of a group - 4 credits
AS 91273 - Devise an instrumentation for an ensemble - 4 credits
AS 91274 - Perform a substantial piece of music as a featured soloist on a second instrument - 3 credits
AS 91278 - Investigate an aspect of New Zealand music - 4 credits
EXTERNAL
AS 91275 - Demonstrate aural understanding through written representation - 4 credits
AS 91276 - Demonstrate knowledge of conventions in a range of music scores - 4 credits
AS 91277 - Demonstrate understanding of two substantial and contrasting music works - 6 credits
